What percentage is the Chad's playbook at now?

Oct 28, 2014, 7:38 AM

At one point he said he the team was running 75-80% of his plays. We must be looking at 10% now with the 4 plays he runs nonstop ....

With a 3 year starting QB (Tajh), he said only 80% of his playbook had been installed. I suspect he has forgotten the other 20% by now. Probably wasn't relevant anyway. Now we're back to the very basic BASICS.

I think Chad traded his playbook for Rob Spence's book at this point...

what would be nice is if he could adapt and write some new ones.***

Cole's timing and decision making need alot of work...

and I get the impression that CM lacks the confidence that Stoudt can make all of the plays or throws.

As an example, the Cuse defense consistently held their linebackers on Saturday night which left the middle of the field wide open, yet we only threw across the middle a couple of times all night.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Yep, Cole seems to get the way out too late on a lot of

throws. He's been late over the middle numerous times, and i think he's late on his deep ball virtually every time he throws it. If you can only throw the ball 40 yards, you really have to get those deep balls out earlier and just trust the WR to get separation. Instead we see separation, but then the WR has to stop and wait for the ball to arrive and i think they have had to become the defender the majority of the time to break up potential INTs.

Not really about percentages...

Oct 28, 2014, 8:34 AM

we are going by chapters. Currently we are on Ch. 2 "Mastering the Sideline Screen"...we gave up on Ch. 1
"Short Yardage and You".

I keed, I keed...QB play is hampering us right now and that is not a dig at Cole...he is no doubt trying his best, playing hurt, and he hasn't cost us a game.
