Because GT is god awful. The o line can’t run block. Travis is getting hit at the LOS a ton.

Travis has always been a running back who doesn't really have the power to go through the tackles. He's a machine at getting those huge runs, but isn't a 4 yards and a cloud of dust running back. If you take away his 20+ yard runs from last season, his average run lowers to like 4.3 yards a carry. The issue is, he's not getting the big runs because the line's not getting a push and letting him get to the next level.

Good and accurate observations. The million $ question is Why? Why are we not adjusting on the fly and take what they're giving us. WHY do we keep running the same plays? We look like Michigan today.
