You need some kind of sauce for it to be a BBQ. If you cook it on the grill then that is grilling out. Where do you come from anyway.

Burgers, hot dogs, some times Roger Wood smoked sausage.

Nov 13, 2020, 8:51 AM

The grill doesn't get used all that much. Even though it is gas, it is an ordeal with having to worry about the cat getting outside and my help never timing stuff up on the inside so only the meat is ready.

Now in the smoker, we must differentiate between the apparatus, is a different story.

Nov 13, 2020, 9:14 AM

Cheeseburgers. I am not good on the grill, but I really can make great cheeseburgers. English muffins toasted with butter on them and Muenster cheese, bacon of course too. It works. Beef has to be 80/20. For some reason the lean beef isn't as good.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: What is everyone's favorite item to cook on the grill?

Nov 13, 2020, 9:45 AM

The more fat in the burger the better the taste. I like 80-20 to 70-30. The 70-30 you have to take into account for the shrinkage.
