Men's tennis: Harrington and Maden move up in rankings

New rankings released today. The team fell a bit from 17 to 20.

individually: Hunter Harrington jumped from 82 to 56. This puts him in good position for the end of the year national individual tournament(64 player draw)
Dom Maden makes his debut in the rankings jumping from unranked all the way to #99.


this weekend the team goes to #8 North Carolina and #13 Duke. Two big chances to get big wins and jump into the top 16, which would give us a host spot for the NCAAs

I, for one, do care. I grew up playing on the Clemson tennis courts decades ago. Even played on the clay courts behind Fike (showing my advanced years).
Watched many matches decades before indoor facilities were built. Attended Clemson during the Gandolfo years.

Even chased foul balls at baseball games when the field was next to the tennis courts and home runs to left or center wound up in Hwy 93. I really do miss those days.
