What has anyone seen that makes you think FSU will

get beat by VT? I really, really hope they do by some miracle, but I just don't see it happening. Logan Thomas is terrible and FSU will force him in to multiple mistakes. I say FSU wins by 14+. I hope I'm wrong, but VT is just not good right now.

fsu offensive line is still suspect to me if they can get to manuel and force him to make mistakes who knows

but when that @ sign is in front of the other school, they haven't played as well. They struggle to get started in games at South Florida and at Miami (like you can claim home field advantage at either of those places). We all know what happened at NCSU.
If this game was at FSU, they would roll. With a off-week in between, they should still win. But going on the road, on Thursday at VT is a different animal and crazy things can happen. If VT beats Miami, they are in the drivers seat in the Coastal and will be playing for their conference lives.

I agree. Before tthe season I would have thought so but VT this year just isnt very great. It could happen but FSU will have to play very badly

The one thing that sticks out to me is the weather. It is suppose to snow there tomorrow morning. Gametime temperature will be around 35-40 degrees. I am sure some of these Florida players have never seen snow before. Florida residents get cold easier and a couple hard hits from Tech in the cold could, possibly COULD, change the dynamic of the game. If field conditions are iffy, it only helps slow down FSU. Plus the short week, you never know what team shows up.
I faintly remember in 1995, when FSU went to UVA (I think) on a Thursday night and got embarrassed as a top 5 ranked team.

VT plays in Miami this week. Very unlikely they will have to play in snow or cold weather.

Call it wishful thinking, but if a heavily favored FSU team can lose to NC State, that same team can certainly lose to VT on a Thursday night in Blacksburg.

I agree but two factors give me hope.
1. VT has had a bye week to correct issues.
2. FSU lost on the road to NC State. I would say you could argue VT = NCst this year.
Frank Beamer is a good coach who has turned his team around several times. I look for him to make this team better before year end. If that happens against FSU and FSU has a off night or Jimbo goes conservative again, we may just see it.
