Not surprise at all, he may have made a difference but, we will never know that. And Lane don't know that as a fact either. With Lane calling the plays, he could have gotten them beat worse bc he likes throwing the ball around, and with our D being as good as Bama's was that day, Lane could have gotten Bama intercepted a few times that could have given us a few pick sixes. So IMO, Lane is just making more stupid comments!!!!

I think he's totally right. His presence on the sideline would have kept those defensive linemen from being exhausted after the 90th play from scrimmage. As such, they'd have had no problem stopping the final drive and "Bama" would have won the game by 3. Right. That guy; it's hard to imagine anyone still takes him seriously. I mean, how can he possibly still be credible? But speculate all they will, the Clemson Tigers are, and will forever be, National Champions for 2016. Go Tigers! Do it again in 2017!

What does it say abut Lane Kiffin when he leaves one of the greatest coaches of all time at one of the greatest football programs of all time to go to FAU? He was about to be either fired, demoted or given a listing of Co-Offensive Coordinator title with Sark.

If Mike Williams had not gotten hurt in 2015 AND if Deon Cain had played in the National Title Game in Phoenix, there is absolutely no doubt the Clemson Tigers would have beaten Alabama in back to back National Championship games.
The good news is that we could get a second chance for back to back wins in National Title games this year. And without Kiffin, we'd be sure to beat Alabama again. Bama does have a bye into the title game, right?
