What did you guys think of the final Star Wars trailer?

That came out last night?

I personally wasn't overwhelmed. I was expecting to get goosebumps but I didn't. It seemed chock full Of nostalgia attempts from return of the Jedi and several cliches. Also didn't care for the humor attempt, made it seem too Marvel-like.

Disney movie push on Disney channel. As R2D2 fan, C3P0 sounded morbid. Otherwise, where's Skywalker??

with StarWarsitis. I have loved the franchise and was really excited with each new movie(even the prequils).
The Force Awakens really got me fired up again for the series, but The Last Jedi really killed any desire to see the stories continue.

Being 50 now, I know I never will have that feeling again as I did between 7 and 13 years old, but even beyond that, what Kathleen Kennedy did with the franchise really has left me feeling finished. The Star Wars franchise has gone on too long, though I probably will go see The Rise of Skywalker..just because.

And like you was enthralled by them (the prequels for me). I literally counted down the days for like a year for Revenge of the Sith to come out in 2005.

I have a soft spot for the prequels. I like their depth of story and overall mythology world building that was around them.

eventually see Star Wars XXXVII, which will premiere at the same time as Rocky 38, or Rambo: Freeze-Dried Blood.

Has potential.. we will see what they do with it. They are trying to make it the finale of a 9 part series so any part of the history of the story could come up.
