What concerns me is that we seldom

start fast. Often times it is in the second quarter before we score. And that is against teams not named Alabama. I know, I know we scored early and often against South Carolina, but that was South Carolina. Against most other teams, we scored a lot, but seldom had more than 14 points midway through the second quarter.

Bama always seems to score early.

Yes, our defense needs to get multiple stops early to let our offense get into rhythm.

28 scripted plays is idiotic. we need about 10-15

Exactly. The problem is that we are so physically superior to everyone we play in the regular season that almost any system will work. We could select plays with a lottery system and still win.

Tomorrow night, We need to immediately exploit match-ups that are favorable. When they adjust, we re-assess. Elliott is also typically slow to adjust to match-ups where we're getting whipped, particularly on the OL. We should plan from the outset to max protect; keep the TE and a back in protection. We have got to give our playmakers a chance to make plays.
