I think anyone attempting to predict the outcome of this election is peeing in to the breeze. Polls mean nothing,like last time. What matters is what occurs when the voter is alone in the booth .

Plus the fact that who Biden picks as VP is by far the most important thing heading in to the election. Pick a wild eyed liberal and all bets are off because he may not make a full term.

MI, AL and NC go Red.
People do not think that NC is red anymore, but it is and Raleigh cannot dictate the rest of the state the way that major cities do other states. The population is too diverse now, especially in Western NC.

That would be betting on Trump to run a smart, conservative campaign where everybody in the party who stands to lose if the current trends continue still falls in line, and Trump does nothing erratic and methodically tries to eat into Biden's advantage by making smart decisions and trying to reach out and win some of the neutrals Trump and especially his hostile taunting derp brigade have chased to Biden's camp. (Not talking anyone here, of course.)
Has that ever been Trump's style? When pushed or pressed, he compulsively doubles down. He can't lose - this is the core of his own world-view, and what he constantly sells to his followers - and therefore the next big win is just the next throw of the dice away.
My guess would be he gets increasingly erratic as the election bears down, his bouts of weirdness worse...and a lot of key Republicans start distancing themselves from him. I'm keeping an eye on Lindsey Graham as one of the primary weathervanes...you know Lindsey will go whichever way the winds are blowing, so if you see him change course the rats are fleeing the ship.
If that happens, Trump will just do what he always does: start firing people left and right (only faster), and withdraw into an ever-shrinking shell of sycophants who will still flatter him.
Unless Trump catches some massive breaks - a timely vaccine he can pass out before election day, for instance - then he's pretty much effed, because this death spiral he's in is not going to just magically turn around on its own.
