What I learned from tonights game

Nov 29, 2017, 9:26 PM

1. This team is experienced and will not give up
2. We have some pretty good shooters out there.
3. Got to get the ball to Thomas.
4. We still have the Brownell defense

I love having multiple reliable shooters, that is what this team has been missing. The defense has always been there, we just never had more than one reliable shooter. I saw countless times where they would double devoe or reed and left Grantham wide open along the base. so more shooters = more open shots. If we stay healthy we should have a pretty good year.

That's exactly what I saw, but I will add that CBB did...

an amazing job at half to make adjustments. We just may have a good coach on our hands.

I have believed that all along, and I have said he just needed some talent. Get the talent to join us, and our coach can win with them!!! Why would 5* recruits go some where loaded with 5*s and ride the pine when they could come to Clemson and show out early and often!!!

I think this kid who becomes eligible in a couple of weeks will help the team although the team I saw tonight doesn’t need a lot of help. Big Ten challenge hasn’t been kind to Clemson in the last few years. BB has done a great job working with Thomas.

Will he be back for the Florida game?

We could probably use that depth for that game.

We will definitely need Skara's help when he is able.....

E. Thomas is a great offensive player, and he is OK defensively, but any big guy that can give us good solid minutes when the foul trouble eventually comes can really help us.
Hopefully Skara fits that bill. Brownell raved about his defense pre-season, so that's a good sign.
Simms has done well off the bench....
With the guards we have and Grantham playing well, how the bench ends up contributing will be the difference once we enter conference play.
I suspect we might be a tough out for some teams in conference play.
But we have some games coming up in a couple of weeks that will tell us more.

Best BB team since he has been at Clemson.

Guess what, he has the best string of players as he has had since being at Clemson!!!
