Vaccine Choices

Dec 25, 2020, 10:37 AM

If given a choice, choose Phizer's vaccine. They also make ######. If they can raise the dead they should be able to keep the living alive.

I think I am going to take the Moderna version because I like their TV commercial the best.

I think astra Zeneca is 70%. Wonder if people will get that.

I like the 94-95% better. Apparently those who are over 65 supposedly drops to 85%. And agreed between the two I’d get first available to you.

Not sure why “######” is blocked, interesting. I got the Pfizer.

Dec 25, 2020, 10:50 AM

Moderna has been working on this technology for years. Just waiting on a pandemic to happen. This is why their delivery vehicle is superior and more stable. But Pfizer is a big dog and could crank out doses. Both are about the same effective. Apparently if you have facial fillers you probably shouldn’t get Moderna.

I’m sure being a mod, sometimes it is hard making that decision. And I’m glad they are up for it.

You wouldn’t want to be too rigid with the rules or very soft either. But you do need to be firm to get the job done.

I'm not sure how the little blue pill, which for so long was very expensive, caught on. My Indian guru told me to meditate on my memories of 8th grade math class and being called to the blackboard in front of the class. That is a swell memory.

First available to me.

My doctor took his first shot (Pfizer) last Tuesday. He is strongly recommending his patients take it.

I've signed up for text alerts. I'll go stand in line 8 hours if need be to get it. (I won't go into detail, but I am suffering from COVID fatigue big time. I'm ready for my life to get back to normal.)

I am 65+, live in Florida. Governor DeSantis has moved us to the front of the line (after health care workers, nursing home patients, first responders). Some counties are already having a sign up list and could be giving the vaccine on Monday.

Hopefully, I'll get my first shot the first week of January.

Dec 25, 2020, 1:46 PM

I'm currently enrolled in the Moderna Clinical Trial. There are 30,000 participants with half getting the real thing and the other half a placebo. It's a blind study so no one except Moderna knows who got what. This trial last 25 months so they can study the effectiveness of the vaccine. We return for in person visits ever so often to have blood drawn so the can track the longevity of it.
However, after the second injection my arm was more sore than after the first injection. I also had a low grade fever (99.9) for about 24 hours. So I think I got the real thing as I don't think a saline solution would have caused those effects.
I would definitely recommend the Moderna Vaccine

Because I have unknowingly been in contact with two individuals who later tested positive for Covid. I've tested negative both times, so I believe it works. Plus I'm 69 years old, am a diabetic with high blood pressure so I'm believe I'm at high risk.

All you people do realize no matter what vaccine you take life ain't going back to normal. It's now time for covid 21 to keep us locked down for another year. I really can't believe how ignorant the average Americans have become. Of course this is exactly what they want you to do so I guess their master plan is working. I will not be taking any vaccine. If covid kills me then so be it. I would rather die than be forced to live life in the #### hole our country is becoming.
