11-of-24 from the foul line and only lose by 6 measly little points...soooooooo very frustrating

A microcosm of a macro problem.

But it will be better. If you had told me we would win 19 total after Mayes was dismissed, I would have never believed it. Akin matured greatly, and OP and the boys really did a great job all things considered. With this next recruiting class coming in and Mayes returning, the future is bright.

It would have been great if Akin had matured...

about two years ago. And it would be really great if somehow, some way we could learn how to do something that a most junior high basketball players can do better than our varsity scholarship athletes - hit a FREE THROW!!!

The good news for this season: Purnell got the most out of his players.

The bad news: There really wasn't much to get out of them. Shawan Robinson is a pretty good player. The rest? I doubt they would start for Bradley of Wichita State. Did we beat a team that went to the NCAA tournament this year?

We've got good players

Hamilton led the lead in steals, so yeah.. I think he'd start for Bradley.

Rivers, Hammonds, and Powell have big time potential.

Mays would start for anyone.
