I just want at least one commitment from a high-profile guy. You get a high profile recruit and the other recruits pay more attention to you.

also, really good players aren't going to sign that early before the NSD. Last year we got our bread and butter well in advance but don't forget that in 2009 it was the last minutes additions that really made that class stand out (Steward and Anthony)

A lot of really good players are signing early and most of them with Florida. About half of Rivals top 10 players have signed already. So, a lot of top players are pulling the trigger fast and sadly, not for Clemson.
Hopefully we can close strong but it is a little depressing right now when guys we thought we had are signing with other schools and guys we had leads for are now moving us down the list.

That school has produced a LOT of problem players. Hopefully this kid isn't one.

or he wouldnt get an offer. we've had pretty good luck with the guys we recruit and I have to believe that isnt all just due to coincidence
