If FSU leaves, the ACC will have serious issues keeping it all together.
My bet would be that FSU wouldn't leave alone. They would leave as part of a package deal. Likely with us. Lots of negotiations go into something like that.

We should leave the basketball conference. I believe that it will happen and sudden and when it happens. It is something that people at the top don't talk about. The investment that Clemson is pouring into facilities does not justify us staying in the ACC. It hints at us becoming a football power house for years to come and this can be achieved outside the ACC.

But that's a HUGE "if".
The thing that is so ridiculous is how the same old BS about us leaving the ACC for the Big 12/SEC gets whipped up every so often by a bunch of weak-minded idiots who have a total lack critical reasoning skills.
Sure, at some point I expect there to be more changes and conference re-alignments; but until something actually happens, or until somebody actually knows something, lets not let our over-active, schoolboy imaginations take over and start a bunch of silly rumors and false claims that will confuse, mislead, and ultimately crush many on here when they fail to become a reality.

If this weak school boy conversation bothers you this much. There are other post that you can respond to. It must be sad to be so unhappy that you will belittle some optimistic fans with logical hopes for our future in Football. Personally, I don't think that the ACC is headed in the direction that most Clemson fans are interested in going. By the actions of our B O Ts, it seems that they are also looking at Clemson being a Football first school.

Personally I never give a rats' #### about FSU and what they do. We should never make OUR decisions based on Free Shoes U. Why on earth would we ever do that? You'd think we're way smarter than that. Let the semiholes go be Texas' biatch. Why do you think everyone wants to leave the big 12? Do you really think all of those schools are really that stupid? We should at least try to learn from other's decisions and avoid the big 12 like a plague. the big 12 just plain sucks. PERIOD.
