We talk about our talented players but little about our highly successful training & weight staff..

and it’s obvious Clemson has in place one of the very best staffs & facilities bar none..or we wouldn’t be able to run with, compete against & BEAT the very best teams out there.

Saying, if you know interestering and/or factual info on our excellent strength & conditioning staff..and how you think Clemson stacks up to Bama, Ga, OHst, OK, etc..please share.

Bet the head guy (Joey Batson I presume) doesn’t make near the $ what Dabo or our other top coaches do!

So true. I remember back in the Hootie Ingram days, seeing

"good" teams come into the Valley and just dominate us. The lack of strength and overall team speed was painfully evident. Speed even moreso than strength at that point in time. BOTH are necessary in todays game. FIRE(works for) BATSON!.

Just the bumper stickers were embarassing.

"I'm Hootin' for Hootie?". Please, gag me with a spoon. Of course, Red Parker wasn't much better. He did have a good ice cream stand downtown, though. :)

Red at least had a personality. Ingram did not.

Ingram's eyes reminded me of Alfred Hitchcock for some reason. Or, later on, an almost exact match to Lurch from the Addams Family. Creepy.

We're All Experts

Bill-- Several years ago, the Clemson internet sports boards were filled with posts saying Batson had to go or listen to each of us and utilize our expert advice on how to run the S & C program. Apparently, he listened to our suggestions because he is still here and we are the National Champions. That's proof positive the coaches and supporting staff do read our posts and appreciate our expert advice.

Many of us may remember Dabo's early days when he was named head coach and we volunteered to offer our advice if he expected to succeed in his new job, Fortunately, he again listened to us and now we are at the pinnacle of success.
