I feel like Ive finally made it as a amateur photographer. I am being accused of photoshopping these pics, adding the birds to them. Am I good enough to do that in PS, yes, did I no. But just being accused has me feeling like Im the best small woodland creature photographer in my house.
Where have I been lately, sitting in the kitchen staring out the window at a bird feeder taking photos. Yesterday there was a feeding frenzy going on (and even it was wasn't I could have easily photoshopped it make it look like it was going on). I' ve been working on learning flash photography, not the kind where you show off your boobies. So these were taken in a single frame shooting mode as opposed to continuous shutter. My flash doesn't recharge quick enough for that. And it was shoot in manual focus. I picked my focus point and wait to get lucky enough for the birds to fly into my depth of field. Or I could watch and study them for two months and just know where they're going to be.

Although not as well.
My hummingbirds were all shot with my old Nikon D50 with a 7-300mm lens.
My camera now is a Canon EOS7D MarkII. I have several lens for it. From a 50mm to 400mm.
It also does videos.

cameras when it comes to quality of images. Probably not as good with stop action stuff but still pretty good
