NC Central to start the year is no joke.
EASILY the best non-conference schedule we've had in years.

IDK, but that grudge match with Minnesota is crucial for our season. We need retribution for that 1997 triple over time debacle.

Wofford, Upstate and NC Central(beat State last year). Texas Southern is coached by former Indiana coach Mike Davis. Bama is the other high major with Jawja, I like that. OK tourney in Vegas and Minnesota and the Coots. Overall still moving in the right direction

I don't think "moving in the right direction" is fair. I think we're there with this schedule. This is all we could really ask for without putting ourselves on murderer's row.

Where is Daniel, Seneca, Easley & Walhalla on this schedule?

YAWNNNNN at this collection of no-names...is this another setup of a dozen or so wins to get the crowd overly excited for the yearly second half run at .500? On paper, the roster is guard heavy and the post players are underdeveloped at this time...especially on offense. It looks like Brownell has the tools to go back to a more uptempo style of play on both ends & be more flexible in his rotation...hopefully he will. The big key will be how well all of the new players mesh & blend together. This year will be iconic as to whether or not BB has what it takes to finish in the top half of the ACC as the basketball talent has moved closer to the athleticism we've always had. Ironically, even with all our BB history being rather shaky, we'd still be in the top 4 or 5 of the SEC!
STARTERS?? PG- HOLMES, SG- DEVOE, SF- BLOSSOMGAME, PF- GRANTHAM, C- NNOKO

I think Ajukwa starts over DeVoe at SG

Possibly Roper at starting SG, depending on how consistent he is and match ups.
Agree with Holmes (PG), Grantham (SF), Blossomgame (PF), and Nnoko (C).
Djitte, Roper, and DeVoe will be the first ones off the bench.

To begin the year, Roper will start at 2G

The other 4 are obvious. Devoe backs up 2G and Ajukwa again SF. If Austin takes a major step forward and can handle 2G I'd love that length on defense.

Ajukwa & Devoe might be a matchup 'platoon', but

It really comes down to who can hit an outside shot. They both played with much more confidence the last couple of games last year. AA is 3 inches taller than GD, which makes him appear a bit more athletic as they weigh the same according to roster at http://www.clemsontigers.com site.

I don't see Ajukwa ever getting minutes as the second guard. Just doesn't handle the basketball well enough for that. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think he's exclusively a SF.
I'd like to see Devoe have taken a major step and start at the 2G over Roper. Seems Roper's consistency can only last so long.
