was trying to get some tunes off Amazon Music and into iTunes, which happened, then moved on to updating iTunes on my phone. Update didn't complete, now all I can get is the screen showing a wire plugging into iTunes. Tried this, didn't work:

When I start this process, it goes through extracting software, then phone seems to disconnect, and iTunes says, "waiting for iphone" until I get an error message (4005)
instead of contacting Apple Support yet, I'm poasting here. Tips? Funny Jokes? Noods?

no wonder your stock price has tanked.

But you could have saved me hours of time by telling me from the start what the Best Buy - Christiansburg (45 min away or more) told me, which is that they'd have to ship it to Apple.

Thanks for wasting my time by scheduling on two separate chats/phone calls that would waste my time and not solve my problem, service by 1) a dealer that does NOT service iPhones, and 2) a more distant dealer that would merely ship my phone away for repair.
