Just took a big ole sip of water from my 32oz insulated steel cup that I had just filled up 20 minutes before. Felt something substantial and squishy sloshing around in my mouf, along with the sip of water. No biggie, probably just some leftover mozzarella stick that I just ate. Spit out the mozzarella stick just to make sure that's what it was. Nah, fam. It was a German roach. The kind that fly. It appeared to be quite dead, based on how soft it was, which means it was likely teabagging my first couple cups of water today.
This is worse than Covid. If I'd just swallowed it and not looked, I never would have known, and I could ruin my day later with something else.
