I think we should stop playing them in sports. has not

Apr 3, 2008, 6:39 AM

worked out real well

Well, except in basketball and we swept them last year...

Seems like Jack needs to pass out some Velcro gloves

Errors are what's killing the Tigers this year...pitching I'd give a "B+" and hitting a "B", but defense a "C-" at best. The talent is there, but the concentration & intensity is not from the games I've been to. We all knew that they'd be hot/cold this year after losing about a dozen players from last years team, but they were at about .500 at this point too & got it together by the end of the season, so don't bail on them yet!

Disagree on hitting. Weakest we've been in a long time***

It's just inconsistent

Apr 3, 2008, 8:54 AM

The team can hit but they just can't seem to string together any hits, particularly with runners on base.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

And that is extremely frustrating.

Apr 3, 2008, 8:56 AM

Moreso in my opinion that just being weak hitting altogether.

this to be a rebuilding year for Clemson. That has certainly proven to be the case which has been further compounded by some injuries. Although the inconsistent hitting and the numerous errors are part of it, expecting the team to struggle some this year doesn't make it any less painful to watch.

My Dawgs looked pretty good this series. Hopefully they'll

continue.

UGa isn't a bad team, but they got a lot of un-needed help***

UGA went through (last year) what Clemson is going through

Apr 3, 2008, 9:47 AM

this year. Very young, etc., but stronger this year. Perno is a great coach.

Clemson took 2 from UGa last year. Payback's a b!tch huh?***
