They have beaten MSU, but are not beating them because they've only won once.
However, as I mentioned it was originally MSU and OSU, which has not occurred. You cannot start beating two teams if you have only beaten one.

However, after the start you have to follow up on it to be regularly beating teams.
I'll make it super simple for you, he is 1-4 against Ohio State and Michigan State, his top two rivals. Specifically he is 0-2 against his biggest rival, Ohio State.
Therefore, he is not consistently beating these teams. You can say he "started" beating Michigan State, except for the fact he lost to them, again, at home.
Answer honestly, are you Jim Harbro's wife, brother, dad?

However, they have not beaten both MSU and OSU, so how could they be beating them?
I guarantee you if he loses to Ohio State the next 2-3 years he'll be done.

Look at what he's done since he's been there- he's turned that program around. What's his 2+ year record? Yeah, he needs to beat OSU sooner than later, but he's done a remarkable job recruiting and has done a very good job winning games.

Harbaugh and his weasels will be run out of the stadium on Saturday night at PSU. It pains me to say that because I live in PA and have NEVER cheered for State Penn, but Franklin the used car salesman will run up the score on Michigan to gain style points while avenging last year's beat down at the Big House. Michigan's offense is offensive and their defense will be sorely tested. Throw in the almighty white out of 110,000 in a prime time game and it adds up to a thrashing for big Blue.
