Well butter my butt and call me a biscuit! We are the reigning National Champions. Chew on that!
It's in the air. It's so close that I can feel it tingling all over my body. I know you feel it too.
You've probably gotten out all of the tailgate equipment, hosed it all down, seen how many PBRs will fit in your cooler.....well...we've been prepping too.
Late last night I got back from Kent Ohio. What a weird place. Grown men walk around wearing NFL jerseys and cargo jorts. The women have mom jorts pulled up to their bewbs and wear fanny packs everywhere they go. I've never seen so many people in Crocs with socks before.
Junior is driving these days and that makes the trip easier.
I dont know what in the blue hell a Golden Flash is....but dont google it!
We arrived at campus yesterday. We found a young man in a Golden Flash shirt and, after confirming it had nothing to do with urine, we put him in with us. He seemed very relaxed with us. He was all smiles until we hit the highway. Once he heard he was headed to Clemson, the tears and shaking took over.
He wouldnt be in for too much pain, except that we havent had a process since Bama. The garage is all set. The strobe light has been on since we got home after 3am. He's in a small dog kennel, he's naked. We cut up his Golden Flash shirt and fashioned it into a headband he's wearing.
Over the next few days he will be subjected to pain and terror that will warp his body and mind. By Saturday afternoon, he will be a skinned and broken sacrifice. A carrot peeler and some wire snips will be the tools of the day. He'll be quick and simple. We will be making gloves out of his skin by 2 and watching the wolfpups demolish the cawks by late afternoon.
It's back! The smell of blood and fear will hang heavy in the air.
