to my concert shoes. This pair might be my least used to see retirement so quickly, as the pandemic robbed them of so many great events that they didn't get to see like OAR at red rocks, or Andrew McMahon and AWOL nation at Stubbs, Or Chris Stapleton and Sturgill Simpson at the Erwin center, or so many other great live shows that were supposed to take place here in Austin.
I'm truly sad today for all the concerts these shoes didn't get to see, as their life was cut too short by this pandemic.
Thoughts and prayers are appreciated as the new concert shoes have much uncertainty about when they will see a show.

Are you going with cremation or a traditional burial?

It's not an expiration date, so much as it is a progression

As some shoes get beaten up, they either become knockaround shoes (for use in the garage and back yard) or concert shoes. I buy a new pair of shoes, and depending on which ones are more beat up, the current shoes go to replace them.
I'm going with traditional burial. they'll be interred monday morning in a curbside ceremony.

Johnny has known me my whole life. Said he figured the law wasn't going to show up that night. I picked Jack and Coke.

Took this a long time ago when we visited to see my niece get married. Rode this car up and down the hills. Went over the Bridge and hollered at Charlie in jail.
