Well, I just made what should be my last rent payment.

Close on the new house on Dec. 18. Can’t wait to get out of this plumbing ####### nightmare. Landlords are gonna replumb the whole house upon our departure. Their builder is gonna foot that bill. Glad for them. The past 6 weeks or so have been a ######## with three different leaks inside the walls. Had all of the kitchen cabinets pulled out for about 3 weeks. Then had to move bedrooms because of another leak in the master bedroom. Went to work stinking one day because the stank of the carpet must have gotten into my clothes with the blowers going and everything. Didn’t know I had the funk on me till about 2 hours after getting to the office. That was nice. You know it’s bad when you can smell yourself.

Anyway, I have a lot to be thankful for this year, but the most immediate thing is getting out of this rental and back into our own place. Happy Thanksgiving, lunge! And GO TIGERS!!!!!
