I'll be pleasantly surprised if he ever plays a game for Clemson

Excellent chance at signing after being drafted.

UNfportauntely with the frame, velocity, 4-pitch arsenal and the #55 player overall ranking he probably won't even make it to campus. But we'll see. Welcome aboard, Carter.

All I can say Carter is if somehow you read these comments

and I'm sure coach See and Coach Lee told you how important an education is. Yeah, the money's great to sign right out of high school but keep in mind, you can never go back and experience college life... At least not like you do the first go round.

As you said in your own words, you have a huge opportunity to be a part of history. A part of Clemson's first baseball Natty. All at the same time, making even more $$$'s in 2-3 yrs. You can always get insurance to take care of the money if injury is what you're concern is.

Get your education - something no one can ever take away. Something that when it's done, means more than being in a farm system on a team that may make it to the playoffs. Talk to peers who were sold the pipe dream of making a living in the big leagues that never panned out and move from A or double A ball city to city and not making near what you could with a college degree.
