Playing Duke always reminds me of the rain tarp debacle

Clemson was pounding Duke when it began to rain. Duke would not cover the field so the rain soaked the playing surface and forced a cancellation of the game (which the league elected not to madk-up). Duke avoided an inevitable loss and the absence of that win hurt Clemson in the conference standings and Tournament seedings.
