don’t care about women’s bb for a variety of valid reasons but this embarrassing nonsense has to stop. DRad, either hire a really good coach and get semi serious about winning or disband this ridiculous program. Here’s what we DO know......we can win in women’s bb. Just look up Jim Davis. Once again, 40, 50+ point losses are now acceptable routine. Well.......not at Clemson. Best is the standard. A lot of people apparently didn’t get the memo!

How does she still have a job?
Is it the perception that nobody cares about women's basketball that has allowed her to have a way longer leash than what she deserves or is this about some kind of political correctness?

the Clemson Athletic Department and administration certainly doesn't. A twelve (12) year pattern of hiring one terrible coach after another and expecting a different result.
The fact that Audra Smith was 0-15 in conference last year only winning four games total yet still has a job is very telling. The wins came against Charleston Southern, SC State, Tennessee Tech and UNC Asheville.
In fairness, there has been some improvement this year. Her team has won eleven total including ONE (1) conference game.

last year we actually did ok. finishing only 1 game below .500 so thats why there was some hope for this season

Evidently FSU got some revenge for only winning earlier at LJ by 22. Thought the ladies were improving. Only lost the last five games by an average of 14.8 points. Maybe coach Smith will continue build on that positive trend next year.

Clemson’s women lost their best returning player to season ending injury before the season and thus lost double digit points per game.
Coach Smith likely will get one more campaign to turn matters around, otherwise she will be gone.

The winning record may not improve but if Victoria's Secret designed the uniforms, I bet attendance would improve.
