I hear you. I think this year's team is loaded with talent. We replace some studs, but if the defense plays as expected they can allow the Offensive skill group to grow a lot and not press. Oline should be very good.

Coach Saban said as much. Had we had another thirty seconds there is no doubt we would found a way to win, but we cannot go back. I believe Clemson has more ahead.

Don't worry with this defense I think we can make it back to playoffs atleast if defense plays up to standard they set. Skill posistion will be fine oline good and we will find a qb no doubt we have a makings of a bama type hurts year!

It will be hard to top the last two national championship games. Both Bama and Clemson could have won or lost both games. I will take a split any day and look ahead to more championship opportunities.

If the committee will match them up in the semifinal in an effort to avoid having the same title game 3 years in a row. Or if they would welcome such an unusual circumstance.

Agreed, they were both super close games and could have been 0-2, 2-0, or 1-1. Last years was more exciting for obvious reasons but also just how it went back and fourth late in the game.

It was the first-ever rematch in a championship game, that met and surpassed all expectations, along with an epic finale, for the ages. The final drive was an amazing collection of plays, amassed by our star players as if it were a rolling screen credit. The last play had the makings of a summer Blockbuster produced in a Hollywood studio. I wouldn't change a thing..

Not sure I'd say "should have" but if Alexander and Lawson were full strength vs. hampered by injuries, I'd say we likely would have won the 2015/16 Natty too. Add in a missing Cain and it becomes even more likely!
