We should have never built those dumb upper decks...

Now we look like rookies because we can't fill the hill, much less them gaudy uppers. Sigh.

I'll solve .
Cut the north upper deck into two , place one half on the hill to male safe seating accomodations. Then use the second half as an artificial reef in Lake Hartwell .

Having upper decks is fine, but our upper decks stink!

UGA did it right when they expanded Sanford ... lower upper decks all the around the horse shoe. They get their 85,000 without having people sitting in the stratosphere.
Our stadium design people blew it!
Almost nobody wants to occupy the upper 1/3 if the North Upper Deck at Clemson. That's just a fact.
People will buy those tickets and will sit up there if they have to in order to see us play FSU or SCAR or any top shelf program like Notre Dame, etc., but most people still don't like having to sit up that high.
Well, it's pretty much too late now. We got what we got.

Why is it too late? Can't we just raise the playing field up? Then we could fill the upper decks couldn't we? I mean they make convertible stadiums now don't they?Shirley they can make a Ram Jack system to lift the field !!

I know you're joking, but honestly, that's sort of what they did at Penn State when they expanded.
The whole stadium is made of metal and they actually jacked the lower stadium up and built more seats underneath.
Solid concrete and re-bar would be a more challenging issue though

Anybody who majored in architecture or civil engineering, feel free to correct me, but it seems we were limited in design choice when we built the south deck because of the cemetery. Then the north deck needed to be the same approximate slope so the stadium would still feel balanced.
If you want our stadium to feel less steep, attend the ACC Championship when it returns to Bank of America stadium. After that climb, you'll appreciate our decks again!!

I don’t have a problem with our upper decks except for the trailer looking video booth on the south side. That booth needs to be redesigned along with adding some premium seats/boxes up there to make those seats attractive. The North upper deck always seems full to me and it has views of the lake/blue ridge on clear days. Some more lighting and better sound systems in the upper deck would be welcomed. I also believe the steepness of the UD creates a wall of noise on the field that is not comparable to what we hear in the stands.
