Just an observation
Alabama is a great program, obviously. They are consistently at the top of the college football world year in and year out. But who else in the mighty "SEC" is even close to them consistently?
Why does Alabama's presence in your conference make they whole conference so great?
I ask this because other conferences have great teams, dominant teams as well but SEC chanters constantly talk about how weak all others are because they only have 1 or 2 really good teams.
Alabama is the class of college football until someone can match what they do year in year out, but that does not make the rest of that conference anything other than trying to catch Bama like everyone else.
I will say, our Tigers are as ready and prepared as any other team to challenge the dynasty and it feels so good to not have to live vicariously through a RIVAL in our conference to feel good about ourselves.

Don't know why they don't claim SEC is the best basketball conference since Kentucky always carries the torch for the rest.

Because the SEC isn't the best conference in basketball. We are reasonable fans.

Four different SEC schools have won the national championship the last decade.
No other conference has more than one team.

True, but the computers were probably less biased than people on a committee. I think proof of that is them trying to make Oklahoma the 4 seed to protect Bama.

And none of those 4 teams were your team, so shut up. In your best years in your program's history you never even made a bcs bowl. At least you are in a good conference so you can cheer for winning teams. You are a chode
