I have no idea what was said but if Pagan outright told the coaches he was going elsewhere then maybe it was as simple as that.

Again, I don't know, and it may be a huge mistake, but I just don't have any information to judge it.

Why is it petty? If we ask for a commitment and a recruit backs off and then won't give us a firm commitment, but another will then you withdraw your commitment from the former and extend an offer to the latter.

People livin' & dyin' over the decisions of 18 year olds...what does that say about us?!? Just turn on the FAX machine Wednesday morning and hope for the best because nobody on earth knows what these guys are going to do between now & then.

I believe that's what Dabo is addressing right now and for the future. It's a matter of integrity and he's drawing the line. I think that garners respect in the future.

i've see pagan play maybe 25 times in person, soft,lazy no heart is the description his teammates put on him all the time. one of the most overrated player i've ever seen. averaged 3 tackles per game vs what is nowhere near the best competition in nc. teams did not run away from him either. he's been all about the presser all along and doing the hat thing. here in asheville there's something new about him in the paper everyday. he craves the attention but i don't think he has what it takes to play big-time football.no big loss imo.
