We may look quite a bit different scheme wise on offense

Dec 7, 2013, 5:24 PM

next year...

Morris inherited Boyd, and I think he changed scheme some to fit that. Watching AU is a lot like Chad when he was in Tulsa. He's closer to Gus than you realize.

It'll be interesting to see our run game with Kelly at the helm next year.

Truth is....Malzhan wants to throw it more... but he's adjusted scheme to his personnel.

I'd take Auburn's run game any day of the week

We can only hope to be able to run this physically next year.

Next year-- we finally have the backs to run it--- Dye

injury was a backbreaker from going that route this year

Shhhh We couldn't stick with the hot hand and run game

when we were atuffing it down SCAR's throat. Maybe another lesson from Malzahn would be good.

Morris has said he prefers to play just one quarterback.

Dec 7, 2013, 5:44 PM

He needs to change that next year. Quarterbacks need to know it's not the end of the world to stand on the sidelines for a bit. Plus, there may be less separation between the first, second and third options at quarterback, lessening the dropoff should one runner get dinged up.

Dye will bring the physical presence we need in the back field to keep our QB from taking all of the beating as well. You got to have a mix of speed and power at the RB position for this style of O to work properly. We lacked that big back priority.

so, you don't think Chad is gone?? Windows open and close for coordinators to get shots at HC jobs.

Not sure there will be a better time for Chad to take his shot?

Hey Coot.....

Dec 7, 2013, 6:44 PM

GO away!!!

Chad Morris gave Watson his word he would stay!!!

Unlike down in Cootville.... Our coaches have integrity!!

coots hope he stays. he has played them 3 times and not scored more than 17 and lost all three. we are the ones who should hope he leaves or does better. even dabo could run the o and beat some of the teams we beat this year.

Needs two very good RB as well. Dye and co will light it up.***
