Imagine if there was no BCS or CFP. Three undefeated teams at the end of the year. Out of the 3 - ND, Bama and us - who would the polls have given the title to? I doubt we'd top any of their lists.

The CFP has clearly benefited us more than anyone. We don't have the bloodlines (yet) of all the other media darlings who, in the past, have always gotten the nod before us simply because of their name. With the ACCCG and the CFP, we've been able to play our way in every year and prove that we belong in the discussion of Best Team.

And now, thanks to the CFP opportunities, we're in the debate for Beat Team Ever, and while they media still may not give the '18 Tigers the nod on that, they can't deny that we're clearly in the discussion!

We may have 3 Titles if BCS was around.

We would've played UGA last year. Who knows what would've happened.

Of course, in 2016, we were the #2 team but someone said Ohio St may have been #2 due to the computers, but not sure how accurate that is.

was actually #2 in the AP and Coaches poll ahead of us after the final week of the regular season. If anything, we would've needed the computers to save us and i don't think that would've happened. Probably would've been Bama vs Ohio State that year.

last 4 years if we still had the BCS system. Remember the BCS formula, at least in the later years, was 2/3 human polls and just 1/3 computer rankings.

We would've been in the title game all 4 years, and probably would've played OU instead of Bama in 2017.
