In the end it Didn’t keep JoeB under 40 points even after keeping him near the goal line couple early series.
The kid was the real deal.

And giving them the ball back. Eventually the defense wore down. V had a great plan but we didn’t play complimentary football.
If you would have told me before the game that we would make them punt 8 times, I would have bet all that I had that Clemson wins the game.

I don't disagree with you about the punts. (BTW I only count 7 - out of 15 possessions)
However, if you had told me before the game that they would score 42, I would not have bet a penny.
I don't bet against my team.

WOW ! While I was looking at the punt stats, I noticed this.
We had one drive (the 1st) at three minutes and one drive at 2:37.
Every other drive (12 of them) was 2 minutes or under.

What did they do to take us out of the blitz latter in the game? Just successful throws and a lead or did they adjust to our blitzes with different routes?

Sometimes it looked to me like we had DBs running all over each other and not making plays on the ball...Would like to have seen a 3-3-5 with Simmons or Muse in the middle and man outside in on the outside...at least if a WR bumped and cut inside he'd run into Skalski, Muse or Smith which would make him worry about the second time...can't win them all but 140 schools didn't even get the chance and we did...we've been to the dance 5/5 years and the big dance 4/5...lets see...who else has done that...not the Pelicans, not the Pachyderm, not 0310 State! I'll take this loss and continue to dance...don't worry, be happy!
