An astronaut has a 3% of being killed during spaceflight.

while a person who summits Mt. Everest has a 7% chance of death.

Of course only 20-30 people go to space each year while around 800 attempt to climb Mt. Everest(only about 500 attempt the summit). So one major space accident can change those percentages.

Just a random thought for a Sunday morning.

I'm out until the earth is burning and I have no other option.

If they could cryogenically freeze me for the trip or use wormholes to get me to a planet with huge alien sport fish I might change my mind.
