They're trying to manufacture some suspense where none really exists to try and sell some advertising.

No surprise there really. ESPN has supplanted the NCAA as the arbiter of big time college football.

Good post. Very true about ESPN. I would be tickled if he does decide to be a Tiger. I would also be at least a little happy if he choses USC simply because he would stay in-state. I think Clemson would be the better choice but who knows what kind of information he is getting from his entourage.
