But a little over 30 years ago, I sat on the floor in a newly rented house with almost no furniture with my dad and mom. Things were looking up, it seemed. Unfortunately, it was just a short time before we would all never be together again. Part of me likes to think they play it for me.

We enjoy watching old school cartoons with him (largely for our own entertainment). Big Bugs Bunny, RoadRunner, TinyToons and even a bit of Woody Woodpecker fan.

Wife turned off Tom & Jerry due to violence. Watching it with adult eyes, I couldn’t argue. #### those two hated each other with a passion.

I made Joonyer watch Tom & Jerry and Roadrunner.

That's a sure fire way to build the proper amount of tolerance to excessive violence a child needs to survive in this harsh world we live in. Joonyer has made me proud time and time again by dropping anvils on the heads of the unsuspecting from atop a high perch. Granted, the family anvil budget does get up there some years, but WORTH IT.

We stayed up last night and watched it. My kids love Charlie Brown. We do the Thanksgiving, and the Great Pumpkin every year.
