We are taking the ability of coaches to discipline their players at every level.

It seems the desire to win is becoming more important to many fans regardless of the players character. For example ESPN went nuts on Dabo for correcting his punter in the ACC Championship game. Many of these players are put on a pedestal and receive special treatment so it is no surprise that some cannot handle the discipline handed out by coaches like Dabo. I am glad we have coaches that are not willing to win at all cost.

I would be willing to bet the farm that most former players are grateful for the discipline they received from coaches while playing sports. I am thankful that one of my coaches help me to grow up and that he always put Christ first in his life.

If Cain, jj and Lakip are kicked off of the team they have no one to blame but themselves.

We are very fortunate to have a coaching staff with high morale values and character.

well lakip is a senior so odds are he is done. JJ has had multiple strikes and spent all of last offseason in the doghouse so odds are he is done. Cain had the suspension against Miami and now this so I am guessing Dabo gives him a last chance but not until next year. None of the 3 will play in the championship game assuming we make it past oklahoma. I just hope those 3 young men realize how much their actions have affected the other 85+ members of the team.

I am however extremely proud of Dabo suspending all 3. Many coaches (spurrier, fisher, meyer, and apparently stoops) have put and will continue to put winning a game ahead of developing quality young men who are held accountable for their actions.

I don't think the coaches had anything to do with it.

I think it was NCAA testing and mandatory suspensions.

well if thats the case I expect to hear of players from other teams being suspended soon because i guarantee these 3 guys arent the only 3 kids smoking weed and playing college football

News travels slower out west than here in the east. It's even slower in some states more than others. :)

I do feel so comfy in the knowledge the NCAA can manage drug testing far better than investigating misdeeds in Chapel Hole...even after five years.
