The mantra of " we didn't finish " against team X is a big go to phrase these days in sports .
I guess the other team got lucky and was able to avoid losing by your failure to " finish " .
Ludicrous.
Ya got beat . Deal with failure on it's own terms . You weren't allowed to finish , not necessarily your fault for being second best .

They were all about being on a mission to prove that Deshaun's torching them for 400+ yards was a fluke.

They had won it all in 2015, but still felt like they had something to prove because they'd given up more total yards and more first downs. Didn't work out too well for them.

It means they're going to be focused and prepared. Don't underestimate them no matter how many injuries they will be coached nearly to perfection and this will be a battle to the end. However I believe we will be coached just as well and our athletes are better, we win.
