We are 10 games into the season and just lost to the number

7 team in the country,and I just read a post saying we wil have a losing record. lol It amazes me how ignorant some of you are. I know 6 yr olds that have more common sense than some of you guys.

We choked in that game also. There's more than a trend occurring with the baseball program, you just choose to ignore it.

The problem to me is why are they #7 and not us--why have they gone to championship game 3 years in a row and we continue to struggle ---there is no reason for us to have fallen so far behind them

This series was about wiping clean the embarrassment of W&M and Winthrop games. Now those games are back on the table. I would never predict a losing season with our cupcake schedule, but I'd love to hear your prediction on the positive side. ACC Championship? CWS?

I don't have an opinion on the state of our program since we've only played 20% of our schedule and over 30% of our starters are freshmen. I'll reserve an opinion until the end of the season. What I don't understand is what we are supposed to do about our 'cupcake" schedule. all major programs plays a couple of series at the beginning they can win. We have to play our conference schedule. We play our weekday games against schools nearby because of budget concerns and there is something called classes the next day. so what's your solution?

I don't have a problem with the cupcake schedule. My comment was that it's nearly impossible to have a losing season. Only 2 teams in the ACC had a losing season last year. It's an observation, not a complaint.
