No need to fill the spot that Scar couldnt fulfill. If other leagues are playing 10, why would we play 11? No need to risk injury, covid, or anything else.

I hope it is the Citadel since they were on the schedule
before covid changed the season. Since they are a Military
School, they will give us all they have in the physical
side.

Clemson may be able to lock their players down, but all it will take is for 1-2 of them to attend a party and the virus will be brought into the team.
What is more likely to happen is, that a girl friend will bring it into one and then it's in the team.
Factor in the other teams that are on our schedule and the odds are that we will miss a few/several games.
Will they try to reschedule? IDK

I think if the season starts we will only get about 3 games in until some gets covid and a whole team gets quarantined.. then season gets canceled.

Maybe things get miraculously better and we are still able to schedule the rivalry game later in the season. I see nothing to gain from the 11th game. It would have to be late in the season, so bringing a lower division school from in-state is just risking COVID exposure and injury, and I don't see a Big 12 team traveling to SC to play. Plus, I think the 10-game conference slate improved our SOS to the point that we don't need any help there. But is that 11th game optional?
