that Dabo is genuine in his feelings for the players both on and off the field, but when a teenager is able to recognize this in him, or any adult, nothing but success can come from it. Here's a quote from a 2021 recruit from Michigan who sees this, and by recognizing it, is demonstrating that he already fits the culture:
“I like Coach Swinney, honestly, how he cares about his players,” Benny said. “I remember watching him on the sideline when they were losing to LSU. He wasn’t hard on the players, he was actually checking on them to make sure everything was cool with them. Because you’re losing and that’s your final game, he’s checking on them, he’s not actually yelling at them or anything like that. He’s trying to make sure they’re cool, and he actually cares about his players.”
and to cap it off: “And then once I actually get (to) Clemson, that’s definitely going to be a strong interest. That’s my favorite college actually.”.
Dabo has certainly built this program for continued success...
