Way to early to discuss the Tigers out of the CFB...

Playoff. AND if it were to happen- you know a #2 ranked team coming into the season playing the schedule they are dealt (which in most years would be a solid schedule) and beating everyone on said schedule gets left out. IMO it would be the straw that brakes the back of the current system.

It is not going to though. Tons of football to be played. The positive is that this team has not put it together offensively. This will happen over the next couple of games.

PS: Ross and Higgins need to be on the field together more. Matchup nightmares!

There is a reason the committee waits until we’ll into the season before they release their standings. A poll before late October is like a halftime score, as long as you are within striking distance it is meaningless.

There really is no need to get worked up and stressed like some people seem to be on here. Once the CFP poll comes out, thing will be much clearer and we can see at that point what needs to happen and the "nightmare scenario" that can occur. Until then, Clemson just needs to win and win convincingly. Venables needs to turn the dogs loose on defense. I'm not saying we need to start playing dirty, but we're at a point where we are so deep at defense that a message needs to be sent that Clemson is a team that will hurt you.
