UGa gets a good one

Jun 5, 2013, 3:42 PM

This guy can flat coach. He was my brother-in-law's college roommate at Kent so we went out to Omaha last year to see them play. An intense dude, and very, very funny. Five straight MAC titles, and in 2012 knocked off host and #5 Oregon to take the Super and knocked top national seed Florida out of the tourney in Omaha. USC Jr. will have their hands full in about three years. Michigan made a hard run at him last year but he passed.

Interesting he turned down Mich. I would think that would be a good job but maybe not so much.

UGa used to have a good program. Don't follow them enough to know how or why they slipped

Agreed...

You have to spend the first two months of the season playing on the road down south because its still too cold in Michigan.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

And Ohio's no better.***

He is incredibly loyal to Kent

but I imagine there's a limit on what he could accomplish there. Not sure if Kent's relatively close proximity to Ann Arbor has created any animosity between those schools. He was at Georgia Tech for a while and definitely knows the area.
