Watching Elllington light up the NFL

Oct 26, 2014, 5:54 PM

makes me think "what if". What if we utilized his abilities to their full extent? What if we fed him like Arizona is now? Sure we had Nuk, Sammy, and Jaron but the guy is a horse. I knew whoever drafted him was getting a complete steal in the draft b/c he spent his last year here pass blocking and running wide open in the flats for the check down. I don't want to hear The Chad talking about what kind of RB he needs to run this offense more efficiently when he had a Pro-Bowler two years ago that he glanced over.

Glad he's a tiger.

He had an amazing career at CU , I wouldn't say he was underutilized. If anything I would say we should have kept feeding it to him during a couple late season losses.

DB23

Ellington had 223 carries his junior year

He also had 22 catches. He had 245 touches and 11 TD's.

He had 212 carries his senior year (leading the ACC) and 14 catches.

Don't let the facts get in your way though.

Andre only had 680 touches at Clemson, lol. That doesn't count 26 kickoff returns.

Missed several games.

Nobody at Clemson held Ellington back.

He was very injury prone while he was here, and that led to him falling in the draft. He got injured prepping for the combine if I remember correctly. He was the lone bright spot on our offense in 2009 and was on a record pace before injury.
