WatchESPN blackout question

Nov 7, 2016, 7:22 PM

I live in Charlotte, have U-verse and access to WatchESPN. I know that ABC games can be viewed on the app but are there any blackouts? I need to watch the 2nd half on my phone if possible.

I was traveling during the Troy game and got blacked out while sitting in the ATL airport. Just didn't want it to happen again this week. Obviously the Troy game wasn't on ABC.

TIA

The Troy game was on the ACC regional game of the week, which is on another networks affiliate, and not available on the app because of the blackout restrictions.

If the game is on ABC or ESPN the game will be available on the app.

ABC can't be watched on the watch ESPN app. I tried in Asheville this past weekend. Said no live streaming at your location. I was trying to watch thru the ABC app. Good luck. The game was not on the Watch ESPN app.

You absolutely can watch games that are on ABC on your watch espn app. I watched some of the game last week on it. Why would you not be able to view an event broadcasted by one of the espn networks on the espn app?

The only way things get blacked out is when they are on a regional network in your region, and carried by an espn network out of your region.
