The Hall of Fame balloting is a joke and is getting like the Heisman Trophy Selection. The thing is Brian Dawkins was a captain on the field for many many years. He was one of the main reasons the Eagles consistently had a top 10 defense as he would set his players up in the right position because he called could point out the coverage. Brian Dawkins was a student of the game.

Secondly, for Terrell Owens to not be in the Hall of Fame and Terrell Davis to get in is an absolute Joke. I can no longer take the HOF ceremony seriously anymore. It's just a popularity contest.

a few years ago? You are considered the greatest of ALL TIME on a particular NFL team and are NOT a first ballot Hall of Famer! That is hard to believe! How many of those that were elected are considered the greatest of all time on their respective teams? Probably none.
