Just saw the Pompano Beach blimp fly over the house heading north. It sure is a big sucker.

Goodyear actually has three blimps in its US fleet....

one of which operates out of Pompano Beach, Florida.

The other two are located in Akron, Ohio and Carson, California.

He is a very well-paid engineer. He and his wife divorced several years ago. He pays her a enormous amount of child support and alimony each month. She does not work and neither does her live-in boyfriend of three years.

She and the live-in boyfriend aren't considering marriage because neither of them has a job and couldn't afford their current lifestyle if the spousal support payments stopped but they could afford trips to New York and the Bahamas this summer based exclusively on the alimony payments and a substantial inheritence by his ex-wife as the result of her mothers death.

In instances such as this, the family courts really need to reconsider the manner in which alimony and divorce payments are calculated particularly when an ex-spouse (not to mention the guy who is currently boinking her) is using alimony to avoid becoming self-sufficient.
