Was the A&M Garbage TD Because

Sep 8, 2019, 9:41 AM

1. Jimbo wanted to tell the AD his team stopped Clemson's 20+ point win streak,

2. Jimbo wanted to prove his team was as good as Clemson's 2nd, 3rd and 4th level players,

Or

3. A booster making major donations or a family member had "big money" bet on the Aggies taking the points.

Inquiring minds want to know.

A&M scored because of our blown
assignment on the tight end.

no doubt gambling line had an influence on the end of the game

And we’ll just see more in the future.

I hate it.

Why are you accusing our team of point shaving?

Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.

Meh.. When a team is on offense their objective is to score

Sep 8, 2019, 10:19 AM

and A&M continued to do this until the final whistle. Not sure it was anything more or less than that.

I understand fighting until the end to win a game but this is an example of why other teams just don't get it. A&M didn't have time nor could they have scored 3 times against the Tigers and no backups (mainly the #2 QB) were in the game getting experience?

I know A&M played the majority of their players yesterday, due to all the injuries, but where was the #2 QB at the end of the game against a quality team (Clemson backups better than many starters)? What happens if Mond goes down and the only experience the #2 has is against teams like Texas State.

Too bad for them and on to the next Tigers!

Agree... No quit. If we were in that position, I'd want to

see the same from our team. Really a non-issue, other than the broken coverage that Coach V noted...

The objective is to win...

you can't win if you are down 3 scores and slow the game play down so the other team isn't going to get the ball back.

A&M Boosters had money on the agme

Sep 8, 2019, 12:51 PM

In Texas ,you better keep the Boosters happy, or the "consultant" fees to the 7on7 coaches don't get paid !!!
