...when he made Dabo the interim head coach?

Elevating an unknown, unproven, wide receivers coach to that level of responsibility? I know Terry Don had to approve the interim status, but the interim position was a stopgap measure until a permanent hire was made.

That interim opportunity gave Dabo the extended interview he needed to get the permanent job title.

Did Tommy Bowden really see that he was about to anoint the generational coach of our time?

What about Terry Don?

Is Dabo's hiring truly "lightning in a bottle", as some say, or did Tommy and Terry see something in Dabo that no one else could see?

It still stuns me to have Dabo Swinney as the head coach at Clemson. He is a treasure to Clemson University.

Tommy seemed to know dabo had what it took. Yet he seemed to have no concept of what he had to do to motivate a team. Dabo's group has been as consistent as CTB's was inconsistent

I know TDP has said that Dabo outworked every other coach. He was tireless and cared more than anyone else. These traits have served the man from Pelham very well. Not to mention his faith, vision, courage, toughness, personality, etc.
